Her heart beats in a good rhythm and the nurse checks all vitals. An arrest occurs to see how strong the heart is. Once revived oxygen is administered to raise the levels. Another arrest is underway and resus continues to regain the rhythm. The nurse then tests her heart while under anesthesia. The gas is given to her and arrest begins again. Once the heartbeat is restored she is then ready for the ECT treatment. With a good pulse and strong vitals the nurse begins the treatment seeing how far she can take the patient.
