Our EMT has a cardiac patient in the ambulance suffering a massive heart attack. She tries to keep him alert but the monitor goes flat and CPR must be started. The paddles shock him and chest compressions continue but so far she has no response from her patient. As time goes on she starts to get fatigued and must attach the thumper to assist her. The thumper compresses the chest of the patient deeply trying to get vital signs back on the monitor.
